LASH EXTENSIONS
When deciding on what set to choose, understand that you can get any length with any set.
Natural lashes do not mean short length lashes. Short length lashes mean short lashes.
Natural lashes would be either classic or hybrid lash set.
🤍 Eyelash extensions are a BEAUTIFUL
yet HIGH MAINTENANCE LUXURy🤍
During the summer months, intense heat triggers more lash hairs to go into the resting phase which is when the hair follicles shrink and detach from the dermal papilla. This will halt growth on some lashes causing them to fall out over the next couple of autumn months. The change in humidity can play a role in your lash growth cycle. This may not effect every client, but will effect some. Clients with dry skin may have this issue more than others due to hair follicles not getting the nourishment you need to help your lashes grow.
Feel free to purchase my Lash Growth Serum to keep those natural lashes growing with nourishment.
You yourself, should ALWAYS research information on services that you plan on getting, but your service provider should ALSO be giving you valuable information as well. Feel free to ask me anything regarding your service!
{Aftercare Instructions}
Lash Growth serum & Lash Foaming Cleanser can be
purchased in our "SHOP NOW" section on our homepage.
First 24 hours
- Since I use a bonder at the end of service to seal the adhesive, this allows you to get your extensions wet, if needed after 3 minutes from getting serviced.
- Do not wear makeup within the first 24hrs.
- It is recommended that you shower prior to your appointment instead of after to prevent extensions from being exposed to any kind of steam after service.
After 24 hours
- WASH your lashes & eyelids at least once daily, with our "Prolific" lash foaming cleanser. It's formulated specifically for lash extensions.
- Brush daily with a clean spoolie, gently, from middle to tips.
Daily Cleansing Instructions {Recommended Daily}
- If removing makeup first, I recommend using the oil free makeup remover called "Micellar Water"
- Pump our lash foaming cleanser directly on extensions or a clean eyeshadow brush.
- Use the clean eyeshadow brush to cleanse them in a gentle, back & forth, circular motion. Be sure to gently get the base of the lashes where bacteria and oils build up most.
- Rinse your lashes with cool water, pat dry with a paper towel. Do not dry with a washcloth, the extensions will snag on the fibers of the cloth. Washcloths also hold much more bacteria.
- You can air dry your extensions or blow dry on cool to fluff them back out.
- Comb lashes midway dry, then again once dry. Be sure to use a clean spoolie, brushing from the middle to the tips. Remember, be gentle.
- I recommend washing your spoolie 2-3 times a week, or daily if you're a makeup user. This ensures your spoolie is not holding any bacteria.
- MYTH - "Washing your lashes causes them to fallout"
- FACT - " Not washing your lashes can cause major bacteria buildup, which can cause blepharitis or eye mites. Lash extensions do not cause bacteria buildup or eye mites, poor hygiene does.
Oily Skin?
- When using skin care products around the eyes due to various oils that can be in products, go around the eyes and rinse products with hands or paper towel. Washcloths tend to hold the most bacteria.
- Wipe your eyelids with a paper towel or lint free wipe throughout the day to absorb any excessive natural oils.
Fill Ins
- I do not fill in other lash artists work.
- I recommend a lash fill every 1-3 weeks based on personal preferences & natural lash health/growth.
- No two persons natural lashes are the same. SOME NATURAL LASHES CANNOT WITHHOLD A FULL SET OF EXTENSIONS FOR A FULL 3 WEEKS. Especially if you are requesting a voluminous set on a weakened bed of natural lashes.
- You must have 70% of your extensions when getting a 1 week fill in, & 50% of your extensions when getting a 2-3 week fill in. If you have less than the required amount, we will have to adjust your service to accommodate the amount of extensions you have at the time of your appointment.
HELP ME HELP YOU!
- Washing & combing your lashes daily is the only thing that will help your sets last a full 2-3 weeks. If you don’t want to pay for a full set THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO DO DAILY, especially if you’re a heavy makeup user.
NOT NOT CLEANSE your extensions with your face wash. You never want to cleanse extensions with products containing oils, it breaks down the adhesive quicker, causing them to fallout quicker.
Please Purchase our "Prolific" Lash foaming Cleanser. It is formulated specifically for lash extensions.
{Extra’s}
- Sleep on your back if possible. Laying on your sides can cause more lash fall out on one side quicker than the other. I suggest a 3D sleep mask.
- No steamy showers. (If your mirror is steamed when you get out your water is too hot.) Goggles are an option as well.
- When opening an oven door, etc. let the heat disperse for a few seconds before you put your face close as this type of heat can singe & straighten out the curl of your lash extensions.
- Excess heat also includes blow dryers or smoking cigarettes/marijuana etc.
